What does low physical effort mean?

Universal design’s sixth principle says that a design should be made to be used efficiently and comfortably with minimum fatigue. A further breakdown is allowing the user to maintain his or her neutral body position, using reasonable operating forces, minimizing repetitive actions and minimizing sustained physical effort. Here is a link where I got some of my info.

Something as simple a a door knob can make access very difficult for people. The door knob on the left is an example of not following the UD of low physical effort.

The door handle on the right is an example of using low physical effort to open a door.
